The Axon range comprises one of the most durable hardwoods available. Saligna, or Eucalyptus Saligna, is an ideal timber for use both indoors and outdoors. Native to Australia, Macalli sources its Saligna hardwood locally - originating from plantations in the eastern parts of South Africa.
Saligna is prized for its natural, rich dark honey colour when compared to exotic or imported hardwoods. It's not only easy on the eye but also luxurious to the touch. This hardwood is straight-grained and open textured, giving it a smooth finish. If you are looking for outdoor furniture that will last a lifetime, Saligna is idea - it will not scratch, dent or break easily.

Choosing the perfect table
Finding the perfect outdoor dining table requires thought and consideration. Once you have taken measurements of outdoor setting, consider the size and shape table that would work best. If you want a table that is light and mobile, perhaps an epoxy coated aluminium table is most appropriate. For small patios and intimate settings we recommend bistro tables to seat 2-4 people, perfect for an al fresco family breakfast or sundowners with friends.
